GMDC | Retail Tomorrow is following the latest developments surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and its impact on travel, business events, and conferences.
As the outbreak continues to profoundly disrupt many industries, including retail, protecting the health, safety and well-being of our members and employees is our top priority. Considering the recommendations and guidelines from local and national health agencies, we’re continuing to assess the status of our events.
At this time, our 2020 General Merchandise Conference (June 4-8) at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate will continue as planned, however, this event will be continuously evaluated as news develops. As an alternative solution, we are exploring the potential of hosting a combined GM Conference and Selfcare Summit in Atlanta in early October. With this in mind, we encourage you to consider putting a hold on your calendar for October 1-5 as we work through and assess all scenarios.
Our Retail Tomorrow Chicago City Immersion (July 14-16) and Selfcare Summit 2020 (October 1-5, Atlanta Marriott Marquis) events will also go ahead as planned and will be subject to continuous evaluation.
Our Retail Tomorrow Atlanta City Immersion event, originally scheduled for March 24-27, has been postponed until October 20-23, 2020.
